We show that the secret parameters of the algorithm can be revealed using chosen-plaintext attacks. Our attack uses the orbit properties of the permutation maps to deduce encryption values for a single round. Once a single round encryption is revealed, the secret parameters are obtained using simple assignments.eninfo:eu-repo/semantics/closedAccessCommunication using chaosAlgebraic structures and number theoryNonlinear dynamics and chaosAlgorithmsImage processingHash functionEncryptionGeneratorBakerAlgebraic break of image ciphers based on discretized chaotic map latticesArticle1811227233Q1WOS:0002845111000152-s2.0-7795808406010.1016/j.ins.2010.09.009Q1
