| dc.description.abstract | Cumhuriyet’in ilan edilmesinden sonra birçok alanda değişimlerin yaşanmasıyla birlikte, Ankara’nın başkent olması beraberinde yenilen kurulan rejimin her alanıyla modern bir şehir kimliği yaratılması istenilmesi için çok yönlü çalışmalara başlanılmıştır. ‘Ulusal Kimlik’, ‘Milli Mimari’ etkeni yeni yapılacak mimari yapılarda önemli etken olmuştur. Başkent’in ardından diğer önemli ve büyük şehirlere de yansımalarının görülmesi ve örnek teşkil edilmesi için yerli ve yabancı mimarların bakış açıları ve çalışmalarından destek alınmıştır. Cumhuriyet’in ilanından 1950’li yıllara kadar geçen süreç içerisinde modernleşme ve Batılılaşma etkilerini hissettirmiş; bunun ilk örneklerinden biri mimari alanda olmuştur. Öncelikli olarak kamu yapıları ve konut yapılarıyla örnek yapılar oluşturulmuştur. Ardından Cumhuriyet Dönemi’ne uygun; yeni anlayış ve bakış açısıyla eğitim yapılarıyla da gelişim göstermeye Ankara başta olmak üzere sırasıyla İstanbul ve İzmir’de de etkilerini göstermiştir. İki dönem olarak ele alınan Ulusal Mimarlık Akımı, birinci döneminde; Osmanlı ve Selçuklu mimari etkilerini görerek eklektik bir tutum sergiler, ikinci dönemde ise modern ve rasyonalist bir tutumla mimari yapılarda etkisini göstermiştir. Çalışmanın amacı, Erken Cumhuriyet Dönemi’nde Birinci ve İkinci Ulusal Mimarlık Akımlarında yer alan eğitim yapılarını incelemektir. Literatürde bu konuyla ilgili birçok çalışma bulunmasına rağmen Erken Cumhuriyet Dönemi’ndeki eğitim yapıları konusunda boşluk görüldüğü için bu çalışma gerçekleşmiştir. Çalışma literatür taramasına dayanmaktadır. Araştırma kapsamında birinci bölümde, Erken Cumhuriyet Dönemi öncesinde yaşanan politik gelişmeler ve ulusal kimlik anlayışı, ikinci bölümde Erken Cumhuriyet Dönemi’ndeki Birinci Ulusal Mimarlık Akımı eğitim yapıları, üçüncü bölüm de ise İkinci Ulusal Mimarlık Akımı eğitim yapıları incelenmiştir. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | After the proclamation of the Republic, with the changes in many areas, multi-faceted studies were started in order to create a modern city identity with all aspects of the reestablished regime, which was accompanied by the fact that Ankara became the capital. The factor of 'National Identity' and 'National Architecture' has been an important factor in the architectural structures to be built. Support was received from the perspectives and Works of local and foreign architects in order to see their reflections and set an example for other important and big cities after the capital. From the proclamation of the Republic to the 1950s, the effects of modernization and Westernization were felt; One of the first examples of this was in the field of architecture. First of all, exemplary buildings were created with public buildings and residential buildings. Then, in accordance with the Republican Period; With its new understanding and perspective, it has shown its effects in developing educational structures, especially in Ankara, and in Istanbul and Izmir, respectively. The National Architecture Movement, which is considered as two periods, in its first period; Seeing the Ottoman and Seljuk architectural influences, it exhibits an eclectic attitude, and in the second period, it showed its effect on architectural structures with a modern and rationalist attitude. The aim of the study is to examine the educational structures in the First and Second National Architecture Movements in the Early Republican Period. Although there are many studies on this subject in the literature, this study was realized because there was a gap in the educational structures in the Early Republican Period. The study is based on a literature review. Within the scope of the research, in the first part, the political developments before the Early Republic Period and the understanding of national identity, in the second part, the First National Architecture Movement educational structures in the Early Republic Period, and in the third part, the Second National Architecture Movement educational structures were examined. | en_US |
