dc.description.abstractSözlü tarih, kişisel tanıkların anılarının ve / veya belirli bir döneme ait deneyimlerin derinliklerini çıkararak ve değerlendirerek toplumlar tarihinin inşasına katkıda bulunan, insanı nesne konumundan özne konumuna getiren bir araştırma yöntemidir. Sözlü tarih aracılığıyla farklı toplumlardan ve kültürlerden insanları dinler, onların anılarını, deneyimlerini ve yaşam öykülerini kaydederiz. Medya, bu hikayeleri aktarabilen araçlardan biridir, ancak sahiplik yapısı nedeniyle özellikle kitle iletişim araçları, egemen olanın ve çoğunluğun sesidir. Sesleri görmezden gelinen kadınlar, erkekler ve çocuklar ise kamusal alanda seslerini bağımsız belgeseller ile duyurabilir. Ticari kanallar gibi kar odaklı olmayan belgesel, sıradan insanları ve onların hayatlarını anlatmayı hedefler. Böylece kamuoyunu sosyal bir sorun hakkında bilgilendirebilir. Yönetmenlerinin bu amaçla kullandıkları yöntemlerden biri sözlü tarihtir. Belgeseller, sözlü tarih yöntemi ile yaşadığımız dünyayla ilgili hikayeler anlatır. Bunlar genellikle kültür içinde bastırılan hikayelerdir. Yaklaşımı gereği gerçeği sunması beklenen belgesel, insan hikayelerini sözlü tarih aracılığıyla aktarırken günümüze kadar ortaya çıkmayan hikayelerin kayıt altına alınmasını sağlar. Sözlü tarih, özelliği gereği toplum içinde görülmeyenlere yer verir. Böylelikle resmi tarihe dahil olmayan mağdurların sesleri sözlü tarih aracılığıyla kayıt altına alınmaktadır. Herhangi bir soruna karşı toplumsal farkındalık yaratmak için kullanılabilecek sözlü tarih yöntemi, belgesel ve diğer görsel-işitsel medya ürünlerinde kullanıldığında çok daha etkili olacak ve beklenen mesaj toplumun daha geniş kesimlerine ulaşacaktır. Bu çalışmada belgesel ile sözlü tarihin kesişimi, Türkiye'nin bazı bölgelerinde erken yaşta zorla evlendirilen çocukların hikayesini anlatan ödüllü belgeseller Zarok (Beyazdağ, 2013) ve Çirok (Beyazdağ, 2014) aracılığıyla anlatılacaktır.en_US
dc.description.abstractOral history, is a research method contributes the construction of societies history by extracting and evaluating the depths of personal witnesses memory and / or experiences belonging to certain period, turns the human being from object position to subject. Through oral history, we listen to people from different societies and cultures, record their memories, experiences and life stories. Media is one of the mediums can convey those stories but, especially mass media, due to its ownership structure is the voice of the dominant and majority. The voices of women, men and even children, are ignored and not have a say in public life, can be expressed through independent documentaries. Documentary, is far from being profitable like commercial media, aims to tell ordinary people and painful aspects of their lives. Thus, it can inform the general public about a social problem. Oral history is one of the methods used by the directors set out for this purpose. Documentaries, in oral history method used extensively, also tell stories about the world we live in. These are stories often suppressed within the culture. Documentary, is expected to present the truth due to its approach, allows the stories to be revealed have not been recorded until today, as it conveys human stories through oral history. Due to its history feature, oral history gives floor to those cannot be heard in public. Thus, the voices of the victims not included in official history are recorded through oral history. The oral history method, can be used to create social awareness for any problem, will be much more effective when used in documentary and other audiovisual media products, and the anticipated message will reach wider segments of the society. In this study, intersection of the documentary and oral history will be told through awarded documentaries by Child (Beyazdag,2013) and Story (Beyazdag,2014) revealed the children forced to marry at early age in some parts of Turkey.en_US
