Hemşirelerin sağlık bakım hizmetlerinde teknoloji ile İlgili tutumları

İstanbul’da bir eğitim ve araştırma hastanesinde çalışan hemşirelerin hem kişisel hayatlarında hem de mesleki hayatlarında teknolojiye karşı tutumlarının belirlenmesi amacıyla yapıldı. Tanımlayıcı türdeki çalışmanın evrenini, İstanbul ilindeki bir eğitim ve araştırma hastanesinde 2022 yılı Ocak ayında aktif olarak çalışan 199 hemşire oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma 110 kişi ile çalışma yürütüldü. Veriler, hemşirelerin demografik özellikleri ve teknoloji ile ilgili görüşlerini içeren anket formu ve Teknolojiye Karşı Tutum Ölçeği ile toplandı. Araştırma verilerinin analizinde SPSS 23.0 istatistik programı kullanıldı. Elde edilen veriler frekans, yüzde, aritmetik ortalama ve standart sapma, Mann Whitney U testi, Sperman korelasyon testi ile değerlendirildi. Araştırmaya katılan hemşirelerin %97,3’ü ise teknolojinin hasta bakım kalitesini olumlu yönde etkilediğini ifade etmişlerdir. Teknolojiye Karşı Tutum Ölçeği genel ortalaması 144,9 ± 18,51 olarak belirlendi. Araştırmada, hemşire yaşlarının teknoloji kullanımı konusunda etkili olmadığı saptanmış olup, ölçekte mesleki çalışma süresi arttıkça Teknoloji ve Karamsarlık alt boyut puan ortalamasının yükseldiği istatiksel olarak anlamlı bulunmuştur. Dolayısıyla hemşirelerin mesleki eğitimlerinde, sağlık bakım hizmetlerinde teknoloji kullanımına yönelik eğitimlere daha fazla yer verilmesi önerilmektedir.

It was conducted to determine the attitudes of nurses working in a training and research hospital in Istanbul towards technology in both their personal and professional lives. The population of the descriptive study consists of 199 nurses actively working in a training and research hospital in Istanbul in January 2022. The study was conducted with 110 people. Data were collected with a survey form containing nurses' demographic characteristics and their opinions about technology, and with the Attitude Scale towards Technology. SPSS 23.0 statistical program was used to analyze the research data. The data obtained were evaluated with frequency, percentage, arithmetic mean and standard deviation, Mann Whitney U test, and Sperman correlation test. 97.3% of the nurses participating in the research stated that technology positively affects the quality of patient care. The general average of the Attitude Towards Technology Scale was determined as 144.9 ± 18.51. In the study, it was determined that the age of nurses did not affect the use of technology, and it was found to be statistically significant that the mean score of the Technology and Pessimism subscale increased as the duration of professional employment increased. Therefore, it is recommended that nurses should be given more training on the use of technology in health care services in their professional training.
