dc.description.abstractBu çalışmada, deformasyon ilkesinin El Greco ve Francis Bacon'ın elinde nasıl sanatsal bir ifade aracı olarak kullanıldığı ve bunların kullanım yöntemleri incelendi. Çalışmada incelemeye alman iki sanatçının sanatsal bakış açılarının birbirleriyle hem benzer, hem de farklı dayanakları olduğu görüldü. Bu bağlamda, kendi zamanlarında, dâhil oldukları Maniyerizm ve Modem dönemlere ait üslup geleneklerine bağlı işler üreten El Greco ve Francis Bacon'ın, dönemleriyle bağlantılı temel üsluplar da ana hatlarıyla ele alındı. Yapıtlarının incelenmesi ile Bacon'ın, resimlerinde Varlık ve Zaman kavramı ile örtüşen, deformasyonun hangi formlarını kullandığı ve bunları kullanmasının altında yatan amaçlar incelendi. Yine Bacon'ın çalışmaları da Varlık ve Zaman kavramıyla ilintili olarak Deformasyon Analojileri'nin (Örnekleme) ifade araçlarını ne derece temsil ettiği, özellikle geleneksel unsurların kullanımının hangi amaca, ne kadar ulaşılmasını sağladığı incelemeye çalışılmıştır. Sonuç olarak, görüldüğü üzere, hem yaşadıkları hem de sonraki dönemleri üslup ve biçim açısından etkilemiş iki sanatçının deformasyonu başat bir anlatım aracı olarak kullandıklarını söyleyebiliriz.en_US
dc.description.abstractIn this study, how the deformation principle has become an artistic way of expression in the hands of El Greco and Francis Bacon and the utilization methods of this principle is examined. It is observed that the artistic points of view of the two artists examined have different baselines as well as similar ones. In this context, the main styles related to the artistic periods Mannerism and Modemism, are examined substantially, which El Greco and Francis Bacon have produced their vvork in accordance. By the analysis of his works, it has been possible to figüre out the forms of deformation used in Bacon's paintings overlapping with the 2Being and Time3 concept and to examine the reasons of this usage. As Bacon's level of work is concemed, it is important to identify how Deformation Analogies (Samplings) present the ways of expression in relation with 2Being and Time3 concept and how the utilization of traditional elements affect the attainment of the target. Consequently, we may say that, these two artists who have influenced both their current and latter time in style and structure, have utilized deformation as a dominant way of expression.en_US
