The Queen Victorian Period, which lasted for 64 years in the 19th century, was an important development in England's economic and technical aspects. However, it is expressed socially, especially as a period when women are trying to be shaped by very compelling and restrictive rules. Women did not have a place in social life, but had to control their bodies in accordance with the rules of the period with various clothes and patterns of behavior. She tried to look slimmer by using a corset to have a feminine accent, she emphasized the hip and chest, she gave the appearance of her health by keeping the spine upright and while doing all this, she had to display a fancy and flashy image. The industrial revolution, which gained momentum during the Queen Victoria period, also transformed the textile sector; this transformation also affected the women's fashion of the period. In addition to the period clothing, the queen's wedding dress and the mourning clothes she wore after the death of her husband inspired both the clothing fashion of that time and today. Clothing fashion gains an original and creative quality as a result of interpretation of these inspirations with the spirit of the age, inspired by previous periods. In this context, it is possible to observe the reflections of the Victorian Period in both women's fashion and ready-to-wear collections. Although the sociological, economic and social foundations of the fashions of the past may differ from those of today, similar aesthetic elements can be found in clothes with interpretations appropriate for the age.
