dc.description.abstractBeden nedir? Bedeni tanımanın insan için önemi nedir? Özgür bir beden olabilmek insan için neden önemlidir? Cinsiyet nedir? Cinsel kimliklerin inşasındaki iktidar güçlerinin amaçları nelerdir? Gibi sorulara yanıt arayarak oluşturulan tez, Çağdaş Sanat alanındaki üretimlerden yola çıkarak, bu sorulara cevap arama ve yeni sorular için düşündürücü olma amacındadır. Farklı gösterge rejimleri çerçevesinde; beden kavramı ve bedenin hedef olarak sanatla olan güçlü bağı, bu çalışmanın odak noktasını oluşturur. 20. yüzyılda aklın egemen hale gelmesi, bilimsel ve teknolojik gelişmelerle biçimlenen bireysel yaşamın, özellikle 1970'li ve 1980'li yıllarda hem artistik pratiğin hem de sanat yapıtının geleneksel kavramlar kapsamından çıkıp yeniden sorgulanmasına sebep olmuştur. Sanat bundan böyle; düşündürücü olmasıyla, sıra dışı görselliğiyle, sınırsız imgelemiyle en ilginç malzeme olan insan bedeniyle iletişim kurmaya, fikirleri iletmeye yarayan bir araç olarak kullanılmıştır. Sanat ve düşün ilişkisinin plastik sanatların sınırlarından kurtulmasıyla aynı döneme rastlayan pek çok çalışmada, sanatçılar bedeni bir ifade aracı; insanı da konuşan, düşünen ve eyleyen bir özne olarak kullandılar. Bu tez çalışmasında, beden izleğinin sanata yansıması tarihsel sürecinden, Modern anlayışa ve Postmodern döneme kadar, sanatsal üretimlere olan aksı üzerinden incelendi. Geçmişten günümüze kadar, çoğu disiplinde irdelenen beden kavramının bir uygarlık miti olarak, sanatsal serüveni, en önemli örnekler ele alınarak ve değerlendirilerek kaleme alınmıştır.en_US
dc.description.abstractWhat is the body? What is the importance to know the body? Why is important to be independent body? What is gender? What are the aims of the government from gender politics? This thesis, searchs the answers of these questions from in the practics of the contemporary art, and the thesis aims to give a tought for these kind of new questions. Body, and the relationship of the body in contemporary art is the focus of this thesis. In the 20. Century tought becomes more important than before, human life changes with improvements in the science and technology especially in the 1970?s and 1980?s and its changes the artistic practicals too. Art is now; asks more questions, it has uniqe visuality, it?s limitless imagination and it?s communication the most important issue as human body. Today?s arists makes their body directly as their medium of art. We look of the role the body (on multi diciplines) from in the history of art, untill the post-modern art period.en_US
