dc.description.abstractİnsanların temel ihtiyaçlarından biri barınmadır ve barınmaya ilişkin yeni çözümler üretilmektedir. Öncelikle Amerika ve Avustralya'da ortaya çıkan ve tüm dünyaya yayılan küçük ev akımı bu çözümlerden biridir. Küçük ev akımı çoğunlukla sürdürülebilir, erişilebilir ve konforlu bir yaşam tarzını benimseyen kişiler tarafından tercih edilmektedir. Küçük evlerin bir çeşiti olan, mobil evler, taşınabilen ve modüler yapıya sahip konutlardır ve çeşitli amaçlarla kullanılmaktadır. Bu amaçlar arasında tatil evi, konuk evi, seyahat edenler için konaklama, afet sonrası barınma ve hatta kalıcı konut olarak kullanımı bulunmaktadır. Mobil evler, genellikle bir römork veya şase üzerine yerleştirilmiş olup, taşınabilirliklerini artırmak için küçük boyutlarda tasarlanmaktadır. Her ülkede görülen doğal afetler toplumlara, devletlere ve afetleri yaşayan insanlara birçok fizyolojik ve psikolojik hasar vermektedir. Afet sonrası oluşan bir dizi ihtiyacın başında barınma konusu gelmektedir. Özellikle barınma alanındaki ihtiyaçlara devletler ve kuruluşlar hızla çözüm bulmaya çalışmaktadırlar. Bu tez de afet durumlarına hızlı ve etkili bir şekilde müdahale edebilmek amacıyla mobil ev uygulamalarının ve geçici barınma potansiyellerinin değerlendirilmesini konu almaktadır. Afet sonrası acil barınma ihtiyaçlarına yönelik çözümleri inceleyerek, iç mekân donanımlarına sahip, sürdürülebilir, dayanıklı, modüler ve erişilebilir mobil ev tasarımlarını analiz etmektedir. İlk olarak, mobil ev uygulamalarının avantajlarına ve dezavantajlarına bakıldı. Bu uygulamaların mobilite, enerji verimliliği (sürdürülebilirliği) ve erişilebilirliği incelendi. Ardından, afet durumlarında acil barınma ihtiyacını karşılamak üzere tasarlanan geçici barınma çözümleri ele alındı. Bu kapsamda, taşınabilir barınma birimleri, konteyner evler ve benzeri uygulamaların avantajları ve sınırlamaları değerlendirildi. Tez de farklı mobil ev tasarımlarının afet durumlarında nasıl kullanılabileceğini ve bu evlerin geçici barınma potansiyellerini araştırarak, tartışılmaktadır. Ayrıca, bu tasarımların toplumların ihtiyaçlarına uygunluğunu ve afet sonrası hızlı müdahale için ne kadar etkili olduklarını belirlemeye yönelik bir çalışma sunmaktadır. Sonuç olarak, afet durumlarında hızlı ve etkili bir barınma çözümü sağlamak üzere mobil ev uygulamalarının ve geçici barınma potansiyellerinin sistematik bir şekilde incelenmesini amaçlamaktadır.en_US
dc.description.abstractThe current conditions are constantly changing and evolving, leading to the emergence of new solutions for the fundamental human need for shelter. One of these solutions is the tiny house movement, which originated in America and Australia and has spread worldwide. The tiny house movement is predominantly favored by individuals who embrace a sustainable, accessible, and comfortable lifestyle. Mobile homes are typically portable and modular housing units, commonly used for various purposes. These purposes include vacation homes, guest houses, accommodations for travelers, post-disaster shelters, and even permanent residences. Mobile homes are usually placed on a trailer or chassis to enhance their portability and are often designed in compact sizes. Natural disasters occurring in every country cause various physiological and psychological damages to societies, governments, and the individuals experiencing the disasters. Among the series of needs arising after a disaster, housing is of primary concern. Governments and organizations swiftly seek solutions to address post-disaster housing needs. This thesis focuses on evaluating the applications of tiny houses and the potential for temporary shelter to intervene rapidly and effectively in disaster situations. By examining solutions for urgent post-disaster housing needs, it analyzes sustainable, practical, and cost-effective designs for tiny houses. Firstly, a compilation is made regarding the advantages and disadvantages of tiny house applications, exploring their portability, energy efficiency, and environmental impacts. Subsequently, temporary shelter solutions designed to meet urgent post-disaster housing needs are discussed. Within this context, the advantages and limitations of portable housing units, container homes, and similar applications are evaluated. The thesis aims to investigate how various designs of tiny houses can be utilized in disaster situations and explores their potential for temporary shelter. It also seeks to develop new approaches in this field. Additionally, it provides a framework for determining the suitability of these designs for the needs of communities and their effectiveness in facilitating rapid post-disaster interventions. In conclusion, this thesis aims to systematically examine tiny house applications and the potential for temporary shelter to provide a rapid and effective housing solution in disaster situations. The study intends to contribute to further research in disaster management and sustainable housing.en_US
