Hemşirelerin sağlık bakım hizmetlerinde teknoloji kulanımı ve teknoloji ile ilgili tutumları

Giriş: Hemşireler, sağlık bakım hizmetlerinde bilişim teknolojilerinden yaygın olarak faydalanmaktadır. Sağlık hizmetleri açısından bakım verenlerin daha güvenli ve daha etkili bakım sunmalarını sağlamak için teknolojinin kullanımı önemlidir. Bu açıdan hemşirelerin sağlık bakım hizmetlerinde teknolojiye ilişkin tutumlarında önem kazanmaktadır. Amaç: Çalışmada, bir eğitim ve araştırma hastanesinde çalışan hemşirelerin hem kişisel hayatlarında hem de mesleki hayatlarında teknolojiyi nasıl kullandıklarının ve teknolojiye karşı tutumlarının belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Yöntem: Tanımlayıcı türdeki çalışmanın evrenini, İstanbul ilindeki bir eğitim ve araştırma hastanesinde 2022 yılı ocak ayı itibariyle aktif olarak çalışan 199 hemşire oluşturmaktadır. Anket çalışmasının yapıldığı dönem içerisinde Covid-19 testi pozitif olan ve görev başında olmayan15 hemşire dışarıda bırakılmıştır. Tanımlanan evrenin tümüne ulaşmak hedeflenmiş ve anketi geçerli bir şekilde dolduran 110 kişi ile çalışma yapılmıştır. Verilerin toplanması için kullanılan form üç ayrı bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölüm hemşirelerin sosyo-demografik özelliklerinden, ikinci bölüm teknolojiye ilişkin 17 sorudan oluşan anket formundan ve üçüncü bölüm ise hemşirelere özel olarak geliştirilmiş olan "Teknolojiye Karşı Tutum" ölçeğinden oluşmaktadır. Araştırma verilerinin analizinde SPSS v23 istatistik programı kullanılmıştır. Bulgular: Araştırmadan elde edilen önemli bulgular şunlardır: Araştırmaya katılan hemşirelerin %90‘nı otomasyon sisteminin hasta bakımında kolaylık sağladığını ve %97,3’ü ise teknolojinin hasta bakım kalitesini olumlu yönde etkilediğini ifade etmişlerdir. “Teknolojiye Karşı Tutum” ölçeğinde ise en yüksek ortalama puana sahip ifadelerin; “Eposta (e-mail) kullanmanın bir kolaylık olduğunu düşünürüm” (ort: 4.39), “Kliniğimde yeniteknolojilerin uygulanmasından hoşlanırım.” (ort: 4.31), ve “İnternette araştırma yapmaktan hoşlanırım.” (ort: 4.29) ifadeleri olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca, aynı ölçekte,mesleki çalışma süresi arttıkça “Teknoloji ve karamsarlık” alt boyutunun daha yüksek olduğu saptanmıştır. Sonuç: Yapılan araştırmada elde edilen bulgulara göre; hemşirelerin hem kişisel hayatlarında hem de sağlık bakım hizmetlerini yürütürken yeni teknolojilere uyum sağlamaya çalıştıkları ortaya konulmuştur. Sağlık hizmetlerinde önem kazanan yeni teknolojinin, hemşireler tarafından da etkin olarak kullanılması sayesinde, toplum sağlığına katkısı olduğu söylenebilir.

Introduction: Nurses make extensive use of information technologies in health care services. In terms of healthcare, the use of technology is important to enable caregivers to provide safer and more effective care. In this respect, nurses' attitudes towards technology in health care services gain importance. Objective: In the study, it was aimed to determine how nurses working in a training and research hospital use technology both in their personal and professional lives and to determine their attitudes towards technology.. Method: The population of the descriptive study consists of 199 nurses working actively in a training and research hospital in Istanbul as of January 2022. During the period of the survey, 15 nurses who were positive for Covid-19 and were not on duty were excluded. It was aimed to reach the whole defined universe and the study was conducted with 110 people who filled out the questionnaire validly. The form used for data collection consists of three separate parts. The first part consists of the socio-demographic characteristics of nurses, the second part consists of a questionnaire consisting of 17 questions about technology, and the third part consists of the "Attitude towards Technology" scale developed specifically for nurses. SPSS v23 statistical program was used in the analysis of the research data. Findings: The important findings obtained from the research are as follows: 90% of the nurses participating in the research stated that the automation system provides convenience in patient care and 97.3% stated that technology affects the quality of patient care positively. In the "Attitude Towards Technology" scale, the expressions with the highest average score; “I think using e-mail (e-mail) is a convenience” (avg: 4.39), “I like the application of new technologies in my clinic.” (avg: 4.31), and “I enjoy doing research on the Internet.” (average: 4.29) expressions. In addition, in the same scale, it was determined that the "Technology and pessimism" sub-dimension was higher as the duration of Professional work increased. Conclusion: According to the findings of the research; It has been revealed that nurses try to adapt to new technologies both in their personal lives and while carrying out health care services. It can be said that the new technology, which has gained importance in health services, contributes to public health, thanks to its effective use by nurses.
