dc.description.abstractWith the web, accessing and using information between remote systems became easier for people in comparison to the years before the web, but web users are still limited in their ability to reach and use this information. As a solution, the data in web pages should be described in a way that it can be used for more effective automation,search,and reuse across systems. Semantic Web appears as a solution to this limitation problem. Semantic Web aims to describe the content in the html markup for use of some intelligent programs,device,and databases. For semantic markup web ontology languages are used which are built on Resource Description Framework(RDF). The aim of this thesis is to creat a Semantic Işık University Web Page with Ontology Web Language(OWL)markup and show the gains of a semantic web page by developing an intelligent search module.en_US
dc.description.abstractWeb sayesinde, insanların uzak sistemlerdeki bilgiye ulaşması ve bu bilgiyi kullanması Web' den önceki yıllara kıyasla çok daha kolay hale geldi, bununla beraber Web kullanıcılarının bu bilgiye ulaşması ve kullanması kendi yetenekleriyle sınırlıdır. Bu sınırlandırmanın bir çözümü olarak web sayfalarındaki bilginin daha etkili otomasyon, arama ve tekrar kullanıma uygun olarak açıklanması lazım. Anlamlı Web bu sınırlandırma problemine çözüm olarak ortaya çıkar. Anlamlı Web html sayfalarındaki içeriğin bazı akıllı programlar, cihazlar ve veri tabanları tarafından kullanılması için açıklanmasını amaçlar. Web sayfalarına anlamlı içerik eklemek için "Resource Description Framework" üzerine inşa edilen "web ontoloji" dilleri kullanılır. Bu tezin amacı, "Ontology Web Language (OWL)" kullanarak "Anlamlı Işık Üniversitesi Web Sitesi" geliştirmek ve akıllı arama modülü geliştirerek "Anlamlı Web Sitesi"nin kazanımlarını göstermektir.en_US
