dc.description.abstractAmaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı, bir grup mastektomili kadında beden ve sosyal destek algısının depresyon düzeyine ilişkisinin olup olmadığını incelenmeyi amaçlamaktadır. Yöntem: Bu araştırmanın örneklemi, 35-70 yaş arasında değişen meme kanseri tanılı mastektomili 76 kadın, 125 sağlıklı kadın olmak üzere toplam 201 kişiden oluşmaktadır. Araştırmada, Bilgilendirilmiş Gönüllü Olur Formu metninin ardından katılımcılara sırasıyla; Sosyodemografik Bilgi Formu, Beck Depresyon Envanteri (BDE), Beden Algısı Ölçeği (BAÖ) ve Çok Boyutlu Algılanan Sosyal Destek Ölçeği (ÇBASDÖ) uygulanmıştır. Bulgular: Çalışmanın sonucunda, mastektomili kadınlarda BAÖ toplam puanı ile ÇBASDÖ ve BDÖ toplam puanları incelendiğinde; BDE ile BAÖ toplam puanı arasında, ÇBASDÖ arkadaş alt boyutu ve toplam puanı arasında negatif bir ilişki saptanmıştır. Ayrıca, BAÖ ile ÇBASDÖ toplam puanın negatif yönde BDE anlamlı bir yordayıcısı olduğu belirlenmiştir. Mastektomi sonrası meme onarımı yapılan kadınların BAÖ, BDE, ÇBASDÖ aile, arkadaş, özel bir insan alt boyutları ve toplam puanı onarım ameliyatı yapılmayanlara göre anlamlı derecede farklılaşmamaktadır. Ek olarak, mastektomili kadınlar ile sağlıklı gruplar arası karşılaştırmada; BDE, BAÖ ve ÇBASDÖ aile, arkadaş, özel insan alt boyutu ve toplam puanları farklılık göstermemektedir. Sonuç: Özetle araştırmamızda, kadınlarda çok yaygın görülen bir sağlık problemi olan meme kanserinde mastektomi sonrası meme kaybıyla giden sembolik anlamların beden ve sosyal destek algısına, depresyon düzeyine dikkat çekilmiş, hastalık değişkenleri açısından incelenmiş ve sonuçlarımız literatür ışığında tartışılmıştır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, bir grup mastektomili kadında beden ve sosyal destek algısının depresyon düzeyine ilişkisinin olup olmadığını incelenmeyi amaçlamaktadır.en_US
dc.description.abstractObjective: The aim of this study is to investigate whether body and social support perception are related to the depression level in a group of women with mastectomy. Method: The sample of the study consists of a total of 201 people, 76 women diagnosised breast cancer with mastectomies and 125 healthy women between the ages of 35-70. In the research, In addition to Informed Consent Form, Sociodemographic Form, Beck Depression Inventory (BDI), Body Perception Scale (BAI) and Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS) were applied to the participants. Results: As a result of the study, Negative relationship was found between the total score of BDI and BAI and the subscale of friends of MSPSS and the total score. Furthermore, it was found that the total score of BAI and MSPSS was a significant predictor of BDI in a negative direction. BAI, BDI, MSPSS, family, friend, special human sub-dimension and total score of the women who underwent breast repair after mastectomy is significantly different from those who did not have repair surgery. In addition, the comparison between healthy groups with women with mastectomies, BDI, BAI and MSPSS family, friends, special human sub-size and total scores did not differ. Conclusion: In this research, our study, in breast cancer which is a very common health problem in women, was drawn attention to the body and social support perception and depression level of symbolic meanings lost with breast loss after mastectomy, it has been examined in terms of disease variables and our results are discussed in the light of the literature.en_US
