The participants selected by objective sampling technique among application to the clinic for obesity treatment for the first time andpeople at the sixth month in treatments Results: According to the general results of the study, it was determined that the general symptom averages and paranoid thought scores of the participants at the sixth month of treatment were higher than those who applied for the first time. However, eating attitude scores were found to be higher for participants in the sixth month of treatment than for those who applied for the first time in the clinic. Participants at the sixth month of treatment were found to have higher scores on the obesity change stage scale of food weight and diet and personal and emotional dimensions than those who first applied to the obesity clinic. In other words, in patients continuing to obesity treatment, the treatment motivation increases with the duration of the treatment. As with the treatment motivations, it was determined that the social support perceived by participants in the sixth month of treatment was higher. Perceived social support among participants is social support perceived by the differentiating family. Conclusion: In the obesity clinic, it was determined that continuing treatment had effects on psychopathology, eating attitudes, treatment motivation and social support perception.
