Yayın 21.yüzyıl çağdaş sanat önermesi olarak Peter Greenaway’in Last Supper dijital video enstalasyonu(Istanbul Univ, Research Inst Turkology, Dept Art History, 2018) Avcı Tuğal, Sibel20.yüzyılda ilk örnekleri görülen dijital teknoloji ve dijital görüntü uygulamaları 21.yüzyılla birlikte post-dijital döneme evrilmiştir. Hızla gelişen dijital görüntüleme teknolojisi ve buna bağlı gelişen dijital video ve dijital görüntü işleme teknolojileri farklı ve yeni anlam katmanları yaratmak üzere sanat alanında kullanılmaktadır. Simülasyonlarla çevrili bir yaşam alanı sunan 21. yüzyılda sanat yeniden varlığını sorgulamaktadır. İngiliz sinema yönetmeni, ressam Peter Greenaway sanatın, özellikle sinema sanatının yenilenmesi ve farklı açılımlar yapabilmesi için 8000 yıllık geçmişi olan resim sanatına yeniden bakılması gerektiğini düşünmektedir. Bu amaçla 2006 yılında, Batı Resim Sanatı’nda başyapıt olarak kabul edilen eserler üzerinde yeni bir görsel bir dil oluşturmak, farklı anlam katmanları yaratmak amacı ile “Nine Classic Paintings Revisited” projesine başlamıştır. Bu proje kapsamında yer alan başyapıtlardan biri Leonardo da Vinci’ye ait “Last Supper” freskidir. Elektronik teknolojisine bağlı olarak gelişen bilgisayarlar ve dijitalleşme toplumların kültür yapısını değiştirmekte, insan-makine ilişkisini yakınlaştırmakta, teknolojiyi vazgeçilmez kılmaktadır. Bu durum sanat için yeni bir deneyim alanı yaratmıştır. Oluşan dijital evren ve insan arasındaki bağlantı küresel anlamda endüstriyel, ekonomik ve ideolojik eğilimlere bağlı olarak şekillenmektedir. Zaman ve mekan kavramlarını altüst eden dijital yapılanma yaşamı dönüştürmektedir. 20. yüzyıl ortalarından itibaren ilk örnekleri görülen elektronik sanat, bilgisayar sanatı ve bugünkü adı ile dijital sanat fotoğraf sanatının geçmişte karşılaştığı eleştirilere benzer yaklaşımlarla değerlendirilmektedir. 21.yüzyılda büyük bir dönüşüm yaratacağı öngörülen Endüstri 4.0 ile birlikte biçimlenecek yaşam biçimlerinde görselleştirmenin, görsel estetiğin ve görsel algılamanın ön planda olacağı düşünülmektedir. Yaşanmakta olan değişim ve dönüşüm özü gereği yenilik,deneysellik ve iletişimi içinde barındıran sanat için bir fırsattır. Bu çalışmada temeli elektronik ve bilgisayar sistemlerine dayanan bilgisayar sanatı, bu alana yön verenler ve dijital sanat oluşumlarının geçirdiği süreçler ilk örnekler üzerinden incelenmektedir.Yayın Ex-libris in Turkey(İstanbul Ekslibris Derneği, 2016-07-01) Pektaş, HasipEx-libris has been introduced to Turkey either by Turks going abroad or via books purchased from the West. Ex-librises are found in some books on Turkey bought from auctions conducted in the West. It can be argued that those who have first got ex-librises made in the real sense in Turkey were the expatriate bibliophiles of that period. The number of bibliophiles as well as others, who get ex-librises done as a measure against theft by borrowers of books from their libraries, is increasing every other day. First established in Ankara in 1997, the Ex-libris Society in our country has continued its activities in Istanbul under the name of the Istanbul Ex-libris Society since 2008. Istanbul Ex-libris Museum was moved to new locality Işik University in Maslak in 2014. The mission of modern museology is to educate the community and to contribute to its sociocultural development. Museums should not only be fostered by the state but all the segments of the society. Creating knowledge and carrying it on to the future generations, universities can be the leaders of museography. The communication and interaction of the museum and university with the public can be facilitated. There are only 38 university museums in Turkey. One of them is Istanbul Exlibris Museum (IEM) in Işık University. Small but highly functional museum has a collection of great value. Ex-libris are printmaking artwork affixed to the inside cover of books and contain the name of the owner of book. Istanbul Ex-Libris Society has organized three international competitions under the leadership of Hasip Pektas and the collected pieces of ex-libris have found a venue within the premises of Işık University. IEM has 14,000 pieces of ex-libris. All students visit the museum and participate in workshops. The goal of the museum is to remain for the future as an online museum. The purpose of this research is to share IEM’s development.Yayın An analysis of interactivty possibities in online journalism(Uluslararası Kıbrıs Üniversitesi, 2011) Öz Pektaş, HaticeThe study in investigating the interactivity possibilities in cyber journalism in Turkey examines web sites of national newspapers comparatively to the web sites of newspapers from different countries thereby utilising the methodology of comparative analysis in its research of the interactivity possibilities in online journalism. The most important character of interactivity is that messages are formatted in relation to each other and in a way enabling the participation and or intervention of the user. Interactive communication is used in journalism to attract the reader’s attention and provide her/him with the information s/he needs in an effective manner. Some interactivity instruments are questionnaire, forum and chat facilities. With the advance of technology, interactivity in online (cyber) journalism and the “control” are both found to have increased and conveyed to the reader correspondingly to the “active consumer” models. Interactivity ensures the message is delivered at the right place by establishing a bidirectional communication with the reader. Reporting and broadcasting have a channel structure that changes constantly. Besides the fact that the reporting sector has a crucial role in the constant changes in the world, it is the sector that is influenced most by technology and changing living conditions. In this context, the use of online newspapers has become inevitable in journalism as a result of the changes in lifestyles. The act of reading the newspaper has gone beyond the ordinary interaction between the reader and the paper, and has become interactive where the reader is able to comment, to express himself/herself, and to discuss about the news with people around him or her. This leading editorial and the special issue it accompanies seeks to broaden this agenda. An important goal for Cities & Health is to give ear to new urban health topics, methods and collaborations. In doing so this paper presents the topic of urban sound and health from several unique angles. At its core, we deliberately move the focus beyond noise levels, as measured by decibels, and harm to health through the stress of relentless background noise. Instead, we focus on the concept of soundscape, a more qualitatively nuanced research subject of enquiry. The paper serves as an introduction to soundscape and health from several distinct disciplinary positions and lays a good intellectual foundation for the twenty-two papers published in this special issue. We hope that through a soundscape approach we can encourage fresh thinking about urban sound, including how people perceive and relate to their sonic environments, and show how sound can contribute to health. Public participation also led the design process and helped prototype the interfaces of this non-linear documentary. This project aims to contribute to the field of interactive documentary and non-linear storytelling by integrating participatory design techniques in the prototyping process of documentary interfaces. Involving public both as content providers and as active decision makers in design process lead to a more genuine outcome with a human-centered approach. This project also intends to create an interactive experience to provide a greater insight into rapidly changing lifestyles of Turkish people, to provide a global context to the stories presented, and to generate widespread awareness of issues surrounding suburban lifestyles across the world.Yayın Tv reklamlarında göstergebilimsel inceleme Ve Türk Hava Yolları “Hayal Edince” reklam filminin çözümlenmesi(Istanbul Kultur Univ, 2017-04) Öz Pektaş, HaticeAynı zamanda bir tanıtım etkinliği olan reklam, mesajı aracılığı ile öncelikle satma işlevini yerine getirir. Reklam bir ürünü satmaya çalışırken genellikle kültür tarafından belirlenen dil, imgeler, fikirler ve değerlere başvurmaktadır. Televizyon reklamları ise tüketici ile kurmayı hedeflediği ilişkiyi hareketli olarak sunabilmesi ile dikkat çekmektedir. Televizyon reklamlarının avantajları olarak, göze ve kulağa aynı anda hitap etmesi ve mesajın diğer kitle iletişim araçlarına göre daha kolay algılanabilir olması karşımıza çıkmaktadır.Reklam iletisinin algılanarak, anlamlandırılması aşamalarında göstergebilimciler yapısalcı yaklaşımdan yararlanarak çözümlemeler gerçekleştirmektedir. Televizyon reklamlarında her sahne bir gösterge içermektedir. Göstergeler, gördüğümüz ve görenin ardındaki gerçeği anlamak ve yorumlamak için kullanılan bir anlamlandırma biçimidir. Görsel göstergebilimde imgenin önemi çok büyüktür. Toplumlar giderek artan biçimde görsel iletişimin ve görsel kültürün egemenliğindedir. Reklam filmleri kullandıkları görsel-işitsel öğelerle ve mesajı kodlama biçimleriyle son derece dikkat çekici ve akılda kalıcı yapımlar olmak zorundadır. Bu çalışma içerisinde; görsel göstergebilim kuramı çerçevesinde Türk Hava Yolları’nın TV'de yer alan “Hayal Edince” reklam filmi çözümlenmektedir.Yayın Türkiye’de ekslibris(İstanbul Ekslibris Derneği, 2016-07-01) Pektaş, HasipTürkiye’nin ekslibrisi tanıması, ya yurtdışına giden kişiler ya da batıdan alınmış kitaplar aracılığıyla olmuştur. Batıda yapılan müzayedelerden alınan Türkiye ile ilgili bazı kitaplarda ekslibrislere rastlanmaktadır. Türkiye’de adına gerçek anlamda ilk ekslibris yaptıranların, o dönemin yabancı uyruklu kitapseverleri olduğu söylenebilir. Kitap tutkunları ile kütüphanesinden ödünç alınıp geri getirilmeyen kitaplara önlem olarak ekslibris yaptıranlar her geçen gün artmaktadır. İlk olarak 1997 yılında Ankara’da kurulan Ekslibris Derneği, 2008’den bu yana etkinliklerine İstanbul’da İstanbul Eklibris Derneği olarak devam etmektedir. İstanbul Ekslibris Müzesi 2014 yılında yeni yeri olan Maslak’taki Işık Üniversitesi’ne taşınmıştır. 17.000’in üzerindeki ekslibris koleksiyonu ve kitaplığı ile araştırmacılara fırsat yaratmıştır.
