Free/Libre Open Source Software (FLOSS) has reshaped software technology through the creation of developer/user communities which enabled the collaboration of different parties resulting in the production of Linux and similar software projects. FLOSS user/developer community networks serve not only as "learning, reviewing, and testing" environments for developers, but they may also act as innovation networks that contribute to the improvement of the innovative capabilities of individual developers within the community. Therefore, understanding the characteristics, the motivating factors and the innovative dynamics of these developer communities will provide valuable insight into how to improve the innovative capabilities of developing countries in relation to software.The aim of this paper is to explore the characteristics of FLOSS developer communities in order to discover what benefits they may offer developing countries in generating innovative capabilities related to software. By conducting a survey in the FLOSS user/developer community in Turkey, the demographic characteristics, motivation factors and innovative characteristics of the community are explored and the question of whether these communities may act as innovation networks is examined. As blogging is one of the most popular web-based forms of publishing today, there is a plethora of different blogging tools, feed readers, and aggregators, enabling information dissemination, filtering, and retrieval. Several different data structure and interaction standards emerged which make integration a real challenge. This paper aims at creating distributed microlearning environments basing on networks of integrated blogs, discusses problems of such an integration along with possible solutions, and proposes an architecture for loosely-coupled blog integration. However, systems and management procedures are becoming increasingly complex. Thus, industrial managers encounter several difficulties, either in terms of choice, or in terms of deployment and application of performance measurement approaches and techniques adapted to their field. In this regard, this work comes to support researchers in further future studies to gain insight into the impact of knowledge management and total quality management on staff efficiency and on the performances of the company and to have the knowledge about the most commonly used approaches and methods to measure staff efficiency and company’s performances. Based on the literature review and the questionnaire we did to review company’s behaviors concerning our purpose and after collecting data and analyzing 50 answers from 300 companies surveyed, we did succeed to identify our hypotheses based on perceptions of managers and agents working on different services in the company. Five hypotheses are defined as: -Knowledge management has a positive Impact on staff efficiency. -Total quality management has a positive Impact on staff efficiency. -Knowledge management has a positive Impact on the performance of the company. -Total quality management has a positive Impact on the performance of the company. -Staff effectiveness has a positive Impact on the performance of the company. Hypothesis and model are made to be tested in future studies by researchers on a purpose of arriving at a scientific model eligible to be used by companies to increase their performance. NFC has become an attractive research area for many academics due to its exploding growth and its promising applications and related services. An understanding the current status of NFC research area is necessary to maintain the advancement of knowledge in NFC research and to identify the gap between theory and practice. In this paper, we present a literature review on NFC. To facilitate the analysis of the literature, we propose a research framework and organize the NFC literature into four major categories; theory and development, applications and services, infrastructure, ecosystem. Considering the diversity of needs and concerns in different countries, the evolution of TM discipline can be expected to follow different paths to include different national experiences and to consider unique national needs and concerns in relation with technology management. Therefore, to what extent this diversity is reflected in the mainstream TM research agenda is an important issue. Thus, the aim of this study is in two folds; first, to examine how the general research characteristics and agenda of TM discipline have evolved in the academic research in Turkey, and next, to what extent they have converged or diverged with the patterns of mainstream TM research in international journals, by analyzing the TM articles published by Turkish academics both in the national and international scientific journals. The findings of this research reveal that the TM discipline in Turkey indicate both divergent and convergent characteristics when compared with the results of recent studies about developed and developing countries. In addition, a significant difference is observed about how these characteristics are reflected in national and international journals.
