Ancak bu yöntemler için öznitelik seçimi yapan çözümler geliştirilmemiştir. Bu çalışmada, istatistiksel veritabanı güvenliğinde bilinen en kapsamlı ve güvenli çözüm olan diferansiyel mahremiyete dayalı özgün öznitelik seçimi yöntemleri sunulmaktadır. The aim is to search and find the most intense signal source among other signal sources in the operation region of the robot. In other words, the control problem is to find the global extremum point when there are local extremas. The locations of the signal sources are unknown and it is assumed that the signal magnitudes are maximum at the sources and their magnitudes are decreasing away from the sources. The distribution characteristics of the signals are unknown, i.e. the gradients of the signal distribution functions are unknown. The control algorithm also doesn't need any position measurement of the robot itself. Only the signal magnitude should be measured via a sensor mounted on the robot. The simulation study shows the performance of the controller.Yayın Introducing professional skills during unit operations laboratory(American Society for Engineering Education, 2011-06-26) Rende, Sevinç; Rende, Deniz; Baysal, NihatUnit operations laboratory (UOL) course is considered to be a crucial and integral part of the chemical engineering education. The primary objective of the course is to enable students to combine theory and practice. Problems in industry however entail more than finding technical solutions. Indeed professional life requires other skills such as an ability to propose ideas, develop practical solutions, participate in teamwork, meet deadlines, establish communication between technical support and suppliers, oversee financial issues, and finally reporting and presentation skills. This study describes how in three consecutive courses, we preserve academic rigor of the UOL course while incorporating components such as experimental design, project development and teamwork, which aim to meet the needs of professional careers. We follow up the course outcomes with a survey targeting the graduates of the program. The results show that graduates employed in industry frequently rely on these skills during job interviews, research and product development, whereas those who pursue advanced degrees in academia use these skills predominantly for their research, highlighting the need for adaptive approach for different graduate trajectories in designing the course. For both groups of graduates, the skills introduced during the UOL courses are reported to be valuable in their daily life, emphasizing life-long learning.Yayın FCC-HH: The hadron collider: future circular collider conceptual design report volume 3(Springer Heidelberg, 2019-07-01) Bayındır, Cihan; Abada, Asmaa; Abbrescia, Marcello; AbdusSalam, Shehu S.In response to the 2013 Update of the European Strategy for Particle Physics (EPPSU), the Future Circular Collider (FCC) study was launched as a world-wide international collaboration hosted by CERN. The FCC study covered an energy-frontier hadron collider (FCC-hh), a highest-luminosity high-energy lepton collider (FCC-ee), the corresponding 100km tunnel infrastructure, as well as the physics opportunities of these two colliders, and a high-energy LHC, based on FCC-hh technology. This document constitutes the third volume of the FCC Conceptual Design Report, devoted to the hadron collider FCC-hh. It summarizes the FCC-hh physics discovery opportunities, presents the FCC-hh accelerator design, performance reach, and staged operation plan, discusses the underlying technologies, the civil engineering and technical infrastructure, and also sketches a possible implementation. Combining ingredients from the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), the high-luminosity LHC upgrade and adding novel technologies and approaches, the FCC-hh design aims at significantly extending the energy frontier to 100TeV. In this letter a reduced complexity model is applied to simulate inland delta formation, and results are compared with the Okavango Delta, Botswana and with a laboratory experiment. We show that water loss in inland deltas produces fundamentally different dynamics of water and sediment transport than coastal deltas, especially deposition associated with expansion-contraction dynamics at the channel head. These dynamics lead to a systematic decrease in the mean topographic slope of the inland delta with distance from the apex following a power law with exponent alpha = -0.69 +/- 0.02 where the data for both simulation and experiment can be collapsed onto a single curve. It is shown that the results obtained can be used to derive some complete stability conditions for some special classes of CNNs such as positive cell-linking CNNs, opposite-sign CNNs and dominant-template CNNs. Our results are also compared with the previous results derived in the literature for the existence of stable equilibrium points for CNNs.Yayın Relative effects of marketing effectiveness dimensions on firm performance: An empirical analysis with a multi-industry sample(Bogazici Universitesi, 2009) Gül, Mısra ÇağlaThe aim of this study is to understand the influence of marketing operational efficiency and marketing system effectiveness on firm performance dimensions. Marketing operational efficiency and marketing system effectiveness are two dimensions of marketing effectiveness derived as a result of the exploratory factor analysis performed on the data. Firm performance dimensions used in the study are overall performance, ROI, percentage of new product sales, change in market share, and sales growth, all measured relative to competitors. Multiple respondent firm level data are collected through a survey of 74 firms operating in a variety of industries, resulting in 296 individual surveys. Findings indicate that marketing operational efficiency, a set of short-term, operational dimensions, positively influences all of the firm performance dimensions. On the other hand, marketing system effectiveness, measuring longer-term, strategic factors, does not have such an impact.
