    Belgeselde mekân ve hafıza: Masumiyet belgeseli üzerine bir değerlendirme

    Özü gereği yaşamın, yaşanmışlığın kaydını tutan belgesel bu yönü ile hafızaya da katkı sunmaktadır. En temel anlamı ve işlevi ile hafıza geçmişin yaşanmışlıklarını saklayan ve geri çağırarak hatırlamanın gerçekleştiği alandır. Belgesel sinema geçmişi geri çağırarak hatırlama edimini gerçekleştiren en önemli araçlardan biridir. Görsel işitsel perspektiften bakıldığında tarihsel bir yansıma ve kanıt özelliği taşıyan belgesel yaşanmışlıkların, anıların bu anıların bıraktığı duyguların bugüne ve geleceğe taşınmasını mümkün kılmaktadır. Belgesel toplumsal hafızanın hatırlaması istenen anılar içinde kullanılan araçlardan biridir. Bu yönü ile belgesel bireysel ve toplumsal hatırlama yolunu açarken, hatırlanan geçmişin kaydını tutma, belgeleme, görselleştirme özelliği ile bir hafıza mekânıdır. Çalışma boyunca hafızanın taşıyıcı olmakla beraber kendisi de olan belgeselin geçmişe götürme, hatırlatma, yüzleştirme ve bütün bu süreci bugüne taşıma özelliği ile hafıza mekânı olması Masumiyet (Hakan Aytekin, 2021) filmi üzerinden incelenmiştir. İçerik analizi ile incelenen belgesel geçmişi hatırlatma, anıları bugüne taşıma özelliği ile geçmişle yüzleşmeye bugün ile geçmiş arasındaki farkı tespit etmeye ve bunun üzerine düşünmeye yönlendirmektedir. Bu noktada belgesel geçmişi yaşanmışlıkları ve duyguları ile bugün ve geleceğe taşımak üzere bir hafıza mekânı görevi görmektedir.

    Documentary, which has the ability to shed light on the past and bring it to the present, is closely linked to the science of history, one of the main elements that feeds on it. History documentary is the intersection point between the science of history, which records human communities and what these communities go through, and the documentary, deals with social experiences and events. History documentary, which is based on facts, brings the experiences to the present day by visualizing them from an objective perspective.History documentary, is a source of information about the past, transfers a certain section of history to the future, in other words, it memorializes it. The most important examples of historical science and documentary, which record the events of human communities, belong to war periods. War periods are one of the crisis periods that bind people together. The support given by the Turkish nation to the army in the struggle for independence is one of the most important examples of social integration in times of crisis.In the study, the documentary Milletin Azmi (Kurtuluş Özgen, 2022), prepared by the Turkish Historical Society for the 100th Anniversary of the Great Offensive, will be analyzed within the framework of the concept of history documentary and explanatory documentary. The documentary is an example of a historical documentary with the archive footage it uses and the text that progresses simultaneously with these images. By shedding light on the most difficult period of the Turkish Nation, it visualized the determination of the nation that had the biggest denominator in gaining independence and turned into a memory to be carried into the future.
